* Treasury “The Glow of Snow”: Over the week-end, while I was away, my Snowy Felt Tree Ornament was chosen for the lovely Strawberryona’s beautiful and snowy treasury. The treasury has already expired. However, I did get a chance to snatch a screen shot of this beautiful, soothing collection. Isn’t is  just beauty-full? Thank you Strawberryona!

TOP: This is a most beautiful & soft, two-sided heart necklace I made for a young girl (age group 10 – 14 yrs) in beautiful shades of dark red and purple felt. The heart pendant has been ever so lightly filled with cotton wool for extra shaping.

Hello, lovely souls!

After having been in vacation mode for quite some time, my Etsy nook is finally OPEN again since earlier this month and the re-opening is still in full swing! Yay ;o)) 

Among some familiar items, lovely new ornaments & hair clips have been listed so far and more new preciousness (felt brooches, and most likely gemstone earrings, as well - see previous post) will be added to the shop by and by … so be sure to stop by once in a while to stay up to date.

More Christmas goodies ….

Earlier this year, nudged by a wonderful & inspiring friend who sells precious stones of a beauty-full quality and who is also creating necklaces with them, I started dipping my toes into jewelry crafting, making earrings out of said precious stones & Sterling silver. This sneak peek collection shows the first results ~ with many more to come shortly.
Currently, I’m finishing up a custom order of 3 pairs. I’m also giving wire wrapping a try … so far, I’m loving playing around with all those different shapes, sizes, and color combos and on top of that those stones are just awesome!  Totally enjoying the whole process.

Shhhhht: I’ve just received some wonderrrrrrrrrrrr-full earwires…and I’m totally excited to put them to use (read: “creative day coming soon”). ;o)

At first, my earring creations were meant to be presented at local craft fairs only. Now however… hmmm … I think, they may just be taking center stage in my Etsy shop as well … I’ll think about it some more and will keep you in the loop.

Until then, I’m busy updating my shop, which has been in vacation mode for a while now. Taking photos of my new felt accessories, deciding which of my crafty treasures shall make it to the shop, organizing the lot, writing the descriptions, and so on is keeping me on my toes as well as working on new creations at the same time…did anyone say “multi-tasking”? … hahhaha … ;o)

Wow, can hardly believe it’s been almost 7 months since I’ve last posted here….wheeewww! It has been an A*W*E*S*O*M*E 7 months for me. Lots of wonderful things happened, beautiful & sacred experiences, many-many-maaaaaaaaaaany magical experiences, lots of fun, joy, laughter, smiles, emotions, sensations, lessons, encounters, … inspirations, quite a number of first times, gifts that have flown into my life in a stunning way …. you name it.

Hello my dear, lovely readers,

as some of you already know, this year, I’m participating in a charity project called “Weihnachten im Schuhkarton” which translates into “Christmas in a shoe-box”. People are invited to pack a little Christmas giftbox for a child in need. Those boxes will be distributed to and in different countries: mainly east European countries, but also South Africa, and yes, even Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

I’m in the midst of collecting little goodies and pressies by and by for this kid out there, and am doing a bit of brainstorming about her as well.

And this is where you come in! ;o))

I’ve connected with so many wonderful people all over the world through the internet – friends, artists, crafters - so many beautiful souls. So, I thought, how wonderful it might be if “my” girl (age group 10 – 14 yrs) received many little happy X-mas greetings from all over the world in her box?!

The more I thought about it, the dearer to my heart this idea became.

So, I invite you to join me in spreading a little joy with
a short, sweet note;
a small, happy drawing;
a poem;
a photo;
anything that can be forwarded to me via e-mail so I can print it out. 

Deadline: 12th November 2008

(Deadline for dropping off the box is only 15th but I want to make sure to have enough creative time for this!)

Your note – drawing – photo – message etc will be incorporated either in the X-mas card I’ll put together (I expect it to be BIG ;o) or maybe into a handbound notebook. I will decide that when I see your contributions flooding in! I also plan on adding a drawn world map in which your rough location (state or nearest bigger city) will be marked, so the girl receiving the gift can link your individual contributions to your country.

Your contribution will remain as public or as anonymous as you wish. All you have to do is let me know. If you have any further questions on this project: PLEASE, e-mail me or leave a comment. I’ll be happy to answer! I’m also welcoming any ideas you may like to share.

This morning, I am deeply grateful for a special circle of people ~ friends ~ fellow souls ~ soul mates that I have the big honor and pleasure to be a part of. This circle has become a very important part of and in my life.

Each and every single one of these beautiful souls is a shining light to me!

They lead by simply being who they are ~ and by their courage and willingness to become even more of who they are, by fully growing into and filling out this gorgeous * beautiful * radiant being they are. They guide by allowing themselves the courage to explore new experiences, new sensations, to move up, above and beyond into new realms of existence.
These souls lead, carry and support.
They comfort, motivate, challenge.
They have the guts to meet and sit with their emotions, patterns of behaviour, their past, to re-encounter past negative (sometimes traumatic) experiences, to question them, to question themselves and to reconcile with what has been and with themselves, too.
They are willing to share their thoughts, their dreams, their fears, their anxieties, their hopes, their visions.
They spread joy and fun.
They allow themselves to giggle, to laugh and they let their tears flow if they feel like it.
They give freely in so many incredible ways. These souls radiate so much support, understanding and loving warmth … that I’m always amazed how lucky I’ve been … how lucky I *AM* to have met these special beings.
To be in this circle feels cozy and comfy. Being given the room to speak or to be quiet. Having the right to talk and the right (and joy!) to listen with your every fibre. To see and feel in which ways we connect with each other, how things fall into place sometimes, to receive the impulses that you’ve been craving so badly unexpectedly, to observe the wonderful weave we are creating, the net we are weaving.
This circle has the ability to carry one another, it is there for you but it doesn’t take from you. It gives in abundance, yet it doesn’t expect nor demand anything … it gives you time and space, a sacred room to simply *BE*.
I’m feeling deeply grateful and touched by all that we share, by the richness and abundance, by the sacred circle we’ve become, by the beauty that we *are* and by the wonderful energies we conjure up together.

I carry all and each and every one of you in my heart! It is my deep wish and hope that one day, I may return something of that which all of you are giving me!
